Oh how sweet is this girl. Heather is a senior at Upland High School. She is actually graduating right this moment! Yay! Congratulations… Heather grew up down the street from me and I have photographed her sister’s senior photos as well and next will be her brother Mark in a couple years. So much fun!

Heather has enjoyed her years at Upland High School very much. She was in Theatre and loved it! She is a complete bookworm and reads all the time. She says she is camera shy, but I think that she was wrong there! Heather is gorgeous and so photogenic.

For her senior photos we went to one of my favorite areas that I have been shooting at for years and years. It is peaceful and quiet and perfect for climbing up in a tree to read a good book. Heather and I talked about her time at Upland High School and how much fun her senior year was. She loves the quote ‘You are enough! You are so enough! It’s unbelievable how enough you are! Well, Heather sure is enough. She is kind and sweet, talented and smart. I am excited to see what her future holds. Congratulations to Heather, Upland High School Class of 2014.

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, the hands can’t hit what the eyes can’t see. This Muhammad Ali quote is one of this Damien High School Senior’s favorites.

I truly enjoyed every minute I got to spend talking with Matt and taking his photos. He is the nicest guy! He was so relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. We went up in the hills above his home to take his senior photos. He grew up playing in these hills and has many fond memories on these foothill trails.

Matt had the best 4 years attending Damien High School. He played on the water polo and swim team. His latest hobby’s are boxing and weightlifting. He is keeping himself in tip top shape to head to college at Saint Mary’s and reaching his goal of working in the secret service. I just know Matt will achieve all of his dreams.

I look forward to future photo sessions with Matt and his family and one day to photograph his wedding.

There were so many awesome pictures of Matt’s Senior Session, but here are a few of my favs. Enjoy.

WOW! Time sure does fly by. I remember first meeting Brandon when he was in  on the Kindergarten playground in Elementary school and now he is graduating from Damien High School, Class of 2014. I am so proud of Brandon. He is the sweetest guy. He always gives me a great big hug when I see him. I am so blessed to be able to share in his life and help watch over for him for.

Brandon was very involved in Damien High School. He played water-polo and did swim team. He made lasting friendships that he will take with him on his journey through life.

His Senior year was filled with polo games, dances, football games, friends and fun. His next adventure will be to head off to college at Ole’ Miss. How exciting!!! Damien High School sure was good to Brandon.

We had a blast taking his Senior Photos. Here are just a few of my favs. Enjoy!!!

I just love this Upland High School Senior. He is just the nicest guy. He is a team player and he has the sweetest smile that melts your heart. I met Johnny and his family when they came to Upland High School to play on the water-polo team. We really needed Johnny to be our team’s goalie and he did an amazing job. My son has been out of high school for almost 2 years and I really miss all of his team mates. Johnny was always ready to pitch in and lend a hand and I just had a soft spot for him in my heart. I was thrilled that he wanted me to take his senior photos.

Johnny loves his family, his girlfriend, water polo and his cool light blue Volkswagen.
I had the perfect location for his photo shoot. We left Upland and headed for the hills. The empty mountain road was the perfect setting for the pictures with the car. They turned out so good.

Johnny looked so great in his letterman’s jacket that was filled with patches from Upland High School water polo, swim, and team captain.

Johnny will continue his career in water polo and play for Mt. Sac. He will be amazing on their team. I am so proud of this kid and I can’t wait to see what his future brings. Congratulations on your graduation this June from Upland High School, Class of 2014!

Here is just a sneak peak into this really cool and creative senior session. Enjoy! xoxo

I had the pleasure of photographing another High School Senior. Ashley is graduating this June from Upland High, Class of 2014. Wow time sure flies by, but at least I get to stop time and create these amazing memories.

Ashley is a country girl at heart that loves to dance and perform. She is on the Upland High School Dance team and also a member of comedy sports. She loves her family ad her friends and is looking forward to attending college this fall.

Ashley was really easy to photograph. She is beautiful and very comfortable in front of the camera. Her bold eyes made for timeless serious portraits and when she smiled she made me smile!

After Ashley’s 4 years at Upland High School, she always goes back to her favorite saying “onward”. I know Ashley will be moving onward in the perfect direction. I wish her all the luck in the world. Here is a sneak peak at her Upland High School Senior Photos by Michelle Johnson Photography. Enjoy. xo

Oh my, where does the time go? I have been photographing Pat since he was 2 years old. Weddings and family portraits for his amazing family and now Pat is graduating from Colony High School in Ontario this Spring. It has been such a joy to watch him grow into such a great young man.

We walked around town for some cool urban photos of Pat. He loves his family, music and his girlfriend. He has really enjoyed his time at Colony High School and is so glad to finally be a senior and graduating soon. He plans on attending college in the fall and starting his journey into the future. I just know Pat will have a great time in college. I can’t wait to see what the future brings and to see everyone for the next family portrait session.

Here is a sneak peak of my high school senior photos with Pat. Congratulations to Colony High School Class of 2014!

I always love it when I get to photograph a really cool high school senior at the beach. Ben and his family love San Clemente, so it was the perfect location for his pictures.
Ben is a senior at Ayala High School in Chino Hills. He is the captain of the water polo team, is involved in Student ministry and is a really awesome person. It was an honor to take these important photos at this special time in his life.

Ben has really enjoyed his four years at Ayala High School and his acceptance letters for college are flowing in. He is excited to venture out of chino hills and start his college life. I know he will do amazing things.

Here is a sneak peak of this Ayala High School Senior, class of 2014. Enjoy!

Courtney, Apple Valley High School Class of 2014!

I was thrilled when Courtney wanted me to photograph her high school senior photos. I also took her sister’s grad photos so it was nice to see the family again. They are just the sweetest people you will ever meet.

Courtney is graduating from Apple Valley High School in the High Desert. She wanted to get out of town a bit for her senior session. We discussed locations and picked the perfect spot for her senior portraits. Courtney made is super easy, I mean, look at her, she is breathtaking. Her sweet innocence and love for people shines through in her life and I am blessed to know her.

Courtney has been really involved at Apple Valley High School. She has played on the volleyball team all 4 years. She is involved with student ministry and loves pretty much everyone. She is a doll.

She has many college offers on the table and I can’t wait to see where she decides to attend. Her first choice is Vanguard and she wants to study Physical Therapy.

Here are a few of my favorites from this super sweet Apple Valley Senior. Enjoy!
