Oh my, how did that year go by so fast. I had so much fun taking photos of Abigail’s first year of life. She is just darling and I had loved watching her grow. We headed up to a sweet little spot in Upland. The lighting was just magical for baby pictures. Abigail’s Mommy is just wonderful and she loves photography and cute props and brought some amazing things. I set up each scene and it was time for photos. Upland neighbors were walking by and watching all of the fun. We had to take a few family photos and then it was all about Abigail. It was all about pink, pink, pink!!! We love pink! We made it through this babies first year session and ended it with a super fun cake smash. Here is a little sneak peak of the fun we had! Enjoy!

I just love doing my babies first year sessions especially when they are some of my favorite wedding clients. I did the first year package for Deanna and Vince’s first son Andre and we are on the second session for 6 month old Jacob. It was a perfect overcast morning here in Upland so I got to photograph at a few of my favorite locations. Jacob was just darling and it is so much fun to get to watch this family grow. Here are a few of my favorite photos from this baby session in Upland. Enjoy. xoxo
What a sweet photo session I had with The Fuelling Family in San Dimas. The light was just magical. I started my photography business 19 years ago photographing children so these sessions are always so special to me. We headed to my favorite field in San Dimas and the photo magic happened. I know that during the session Liam’s parents were a but worried if we would get any cute photos, but I told them to sit back, relax and trust me. Liam was on the go, go, go so I just followed him and let him be. He is a new walker so of course that is exactly what he wanted to do. He is just darling and I am so glad his parents hired me to take his precious children’s photos. Here are a few of my fav’s from this adorable photo session. Enjoy!
How sweet is baby Easton Franklin… He is 6.5 months of pure joy! I am so blessed to be photographing his babies first year of photos. To be a part of this amazing family and get to watch this lil guy grow up is such a treat. We headed out to one of my favorite parks in San Dimas and the fun began. We had to keep with the flow of his first newborn session and include his name, some cowboy stuff, his doggie Coco and more. It was so much fun. The lighting in this San Dimas park was perfect for photos and Easton and his family were the best models. It was one of my favorite sessions. Here is just a little peak of this baby session. Xo
I love taking multiple family generation photos. It is so neat to watch all of the families interact and see the finished product from so many generations. This sweet family called me up and wanted a generation family portrait at the beach. I suggested one of my favorite beaches in Laguna. Sharlene and her Mom went and visited the Laguna beach location I chose and they approved. Yes! I did my job… I love when my clients trust me for locations. This was a very large generation group of more then 30 people in a family photo, it was a bit challenging but I pulled it off. I met up with this group one early morning in late July at one of my favorite Laguna beaches. The overcast skies were perfect for photos, not so perfect to wake up so early and head to the beach, but hey, all for the love of a good family photo right… We took every combination of generation photos in Laguna Beach that was possible. Here are just a few. I hope you enjoy…
What a beautiful morning for a family photo session in Laguna Beach. The tide was low and the overcast skies were perfect for that protected lighting you need at the beach.
The Vander Hulst family traveled from New Mexico for vacation and an updated family portrait. I have been fortunate to photograph them for over 17 years and it has been such a blessing watching them grow up. We have photographed at most of the Orange County beaches so I took them to one of my favorite places in Laguna. The castle looking turret is unique and makes for a great back drop. The turquoise ocean waters of this Laguna beach is breath taking. It was the perfect location for this sweet family. Here is a sneak peak into their latest family photo session by Michelle Johnson Photography. Enjoy.
Oh how I love this family. I have been given the blessing of photographing them ever since Sam, their daughter, was 6 months old. I have photographed every special moment in the last 13 years and it has been a pleasure. Sam is moving on from junior high to high school so she needed some special photos to remember her 8th grade promotion. We were at such a great location that we had to do some family photos and of course get the cutie pie Nate in some too. I just love them all. I had the perfect Pasadena location in mind for these family photos. Pasadena City Hall is amazing. The lighting is always perfect for photos and it is so peaceful and beautiful inside the courtyard. Here is a sneak peak of my fav’s from this super sweet family photo session.
So this post is so special to me. This adorable little baby boy is my great nephew and his Mommy is my niece. It has been a joy to watch Camille grow up and now to watch her be a Mommy and have her own children is priceless. Christopher turned one and he needed some updated photos. Of course I said yes, so off to downtown Upland I went. Christopher’s two big sister’s go to Upland United Methodist Church Pre-school and it is the perfect backdrop for photos. Here are a few of my favorites of Camille and her little man. Enjoy. xo
